  • The Bedfordshire Police Safer-Beds system is an interactive web site. As a member of the Ringmaster system you will receive information and messages sent out by bedfordshire police. You will be able to reply and provide information to us via the secure web site.
  • To become a member click on the Apply option on the Home page.
  • Approved recipients must adhere to the systems terms and conditions at all times.

2. Applying to become a member

  • Applicants are required to acknowledge the systems Terms and Conditions when submitting the electronic application form.
  • All applications are forwarded to a Systems Administrator.
  • Approval is at the discretion of the local Systems Administrator.
  • Anyone under the age of 16 years may not register on the site without the prior permission of a parent or carer.

3. System Security

  • Passwords must be kept safe and not passed or loaned to anyone.
  • Passwords should be a mixture of at least 8 characters and numbers.
  • Avoid family names, pet names or a home postcode as a password.
  • Any inappropriate use of the system by an approved recipient will result in their removal from the system.

  • Messages may be passed onto other local residents.
  • The information in messages should be used for Crime Prevention and Crime Detection and not to raise the fear of crime.
  • Information in messages can be used in local newsletters and publications providing they are copied accurately and not used in a misleading or misrepresenting context.

5. Communication with Bedfordshire Police

  • Users can reply to messages via the secure web site.
  • Communications should not contain any religious, racial, homophobic or sexual comments.
  • Communications should not include any comments that may be considered offensive and inappropriate.

6. Data Protection

  • Information provided to Bedfordshire Police by users of this web site will be treated in accordance with the data protection act.
  • Information will not be sold, loaned or disclosed to any other user unless required to by law.
